Cee Wayo to Release New Ewe Highlife Single “Klokpatse”




Renowned Ewe highlife musician and Volta Regional Secretary of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), Cee Wayo, is set to thrill fans with a new single titled “Klokpatse.”



The track, Produced by Makafui under Pub Record Label, features the legendary Israel Nanevi Maweta, bringing together two generations of Ewe music artistry.

In an interview, Cee Wayo explained that “Klokpatse” explores how people often ignore one’s good deeds but are quick to highlight a single mistake. “The message is to stay focused and keep pushing in life until victory is won,” he said.

Cee Wayo has earned recognition with his earlier hits such as “Agbenorxevi,” “Dzorgbese,” and “Dzotefe.” With “Klokpatse,” he aims to deliver yet another classic infused with the rhythm, wisdom, and emotion that define authentic Ewe highlife.

Music lovers can expect the official release soon across major streaming platforms.
